Custom Projects

Every project is a custom project really. But this medium offers so much flexibility.
There are so many opportunities to infuse a piece with personal effects. Everybody has
a ceramic piece, or china from our family that we love/hate and we can’t part with. We all
have these pieces which may or may not be on display. Not only that, but how many of us
broke a special plate, platter, or figurine and tucked it away with some concept we’ll repair it.

I look at that as an opportunity. My mosaics can infuse a new life into those sad pieces. They’re like
decorative memory chests (without the chest). I also like to think of them as reliquaries for sentimental
ceramics.
